21-Year-Old Woman Arrested in $7.9 Million Drug Bust at Airport

On February 22, 2025, a 21-year-old woman was apprehended at Hong Kong International Airport after authorities discovered approximately 10.7 kilograms of suspected cocaine in her carry-on luggage.

During an anti-narcotics operation, police intercepted the woman in the arrival hall, leading to the seizure of the drugs, which have an estimated market value of around HK$7.9 million. She has been arrested on suspicion of trafficking dangerous drugs and is currently being detained for further investigation.
