24-year-old South Korean actress, Kim Sae-ron found dead at home

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was found dead at her home in Seoul on Sunday, almost a couple of years after she was secluded from the public eye following a drunk driving conviction.

Kim, 24, was one of the most promising actresses in South Korea, but her career was affected badly after a drunk driving incident in 2022.

She was discovered by a friend who was going to meet her at home and called the police, Yonhap News Agency said.

The report said there was no foul play found by the police at the scene, according to Yonhap.

The police official said police are investigating the cause of death but did not provide further details.
