A 22-year-old was arrested after HK$1.6 million worth of suspected liquid cocaine was found on him

A 22-year-old man was caught with around 1.5kg of suspected liquid cocaine in Sham Shui Po on Friday afternoon. The cocaine got on him was said to be worth about HK$1.6 million, according to the anti-narcotics bureau.

The man was apprehended by anti-narcotics officers during the operation in Sham Shui Po. The officers found inside his backpack a suspected liquid cocaine in the form of red wine in a bottle.


Customs said an investigation is ongoing and urged the public to report any suspected drug trafficking activities to their 24-hour hotline 2545 6182 or email account (crimereport@customs.gov.hk) or online form. 


It was reminded that trafficking of dangerous drugs into the city under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance is a serious offence. The maximum penalty upon conviction is a HK$5 million fine and life imprisonment. 



一名22歲男子身上檢出價值160萬港元的懷疑液體可卡因,被捕



海關在深水埗檢獲約1.5公斤懷疑液態可卡因,估計市值約160萬港元,逮捕一名男子。


週五下午,警方在深水埗進行緝毒行動,截查一名男子,並從其背包內的紅酒瓶中發現一批懷疑液體可卡因。


這名22歲的男子隨後被捕。 海關表示調查正在進行中。


海關亦呼籲市民致電24小時熱線2545 6182、電郵帳戶(crimereport@customs.gov.hk)或網路表格舉報懷疑販毒活動。


根據《危險藥物條例》,販運危險藥物屬嚴重罪行。 一經定罪,最高刑罰為罰款 500 萬港元及終身監禁。
