A large tree overwhelms vehicles in Kwai Chung

An enormous tree of about 30 meters high, with a circumference of 1.57 meters, collapsed in Kwai Chung at around 3pm today. The fallen tree destroyed some vehicles parked in a nearby parking lot at 1-13 Tai Yuen Street, and eyewitnesses swiftly reported the incident to the authorities.

The fallen tree also damaged four light-duty trucks and one medium-duty truck. The Fire Services Department was sent to the spot, and cleared-out the debris. According to reports, no one was injured during the collapse.

葵涌大樹壓倒車輛

葵涌一棵高約30米、周長1.57米的巨樹今日下午約3時左右倒塌，倒塌的大樹毀壞了附近太原街1-13號停車場的部分車輛，目擊者迅速報案事發給當局。

倒下的大樹還損壞了四輛輕型卡車和一輛中型卡車。消防處已被派往現場清理殘骸。據報導，倒塌過程中沒有人受傷。
