The African woman was nabbed by customs after discovered ingested pills of cocaine in her body

A 35-year-old woman who arrived in Hong kong airport from Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday through Ethiopia Airways was nabbed by the customs force after discovered 67 pills of cocaine that weighed about 1kg inside her. The illegal drug she was trafficking said to be worth about HK$ 900,000 in street value.


The woman was suspected by the officers when they figured out that the hotel she booked for her stay is not existing and the information in her reservation was not in accordance with the period to stay.


The suspicious woman was eventually taken to the hospital where she was examined and found to be hiding the drug pills inside herself by ingestion. 


She was consequently arrested by the customs authority for trafficking in a dangerous drug and will appear in the West Kowloon Magistrates’ Courts on Tuesday where she would be facing prosecution.

一名35歲女子週日從肯尼亞內羅畢經埃塞俄比亞航空公司抵達香港機場,在其體內發現67粒重約1公斤的可卡因後,被海關人員逮捕。 據稱,她販運的非法毒品市值約為 90 萬港元。

民警發現該女子入住的酒店並不存在,且預訂信息與入住期限不符,便對她產生了懷疑。

這名可疑的婦女最終被送往醫院接受檢查,發現體內藏有吞下的藥丸。

她因販運危險藥物多次被海關拘捕,將於週二在西九龍裁判法院提堂,面對檢控。
