Another two were arrested by national security police for allegedly financing a dissident in exile

Another two residents who reportedly acting against the national security law have been arrested by the police on Thursday. They are on suspicion of sedition and conspiracy to collude with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security and conspiracy to do an act or acts with seditious intention.


The two are 29 years old and belong to the now-defunct Demosisto. The ex-deputy secretaries-general, Chan Kok-hin and member Lily Wong Lee-lee, the sources said.


They were reported to have expended the fund that the online shopping platform had raised to support Nathan Law Kwun-chung who is one of eight dissidents in exile allegedly engaged in activities that endangers national security.


"They are now in the police custody for further interrogation and with the possibility of more arrests", police said.
