Application for 1,079 transitional housing units with a rent range of HK$2500-HK$5350 starts today

The application for housing projects under the operation of the Christian Family Service Center(CFSC) in Tseung Kwan O begins today, Friday 23rd of June until the 30th of June, 2023.

The available 1,079 flats which are three transitional projects with a flats floor area of between 107 square feet and 265 square feet are open for rent at a range between HK$2,500 and HK$5,350 per month. They are located on Tong Yin Street, Po Yap Road, and Po Lam Road North.

The apartments include four-person households which are accessible to disabled residents. More than half of the apartments are one-person and two-person households.

Anyone who wants to apply must meet up with the Housing Authority's existing policies and eligibility criteria for applying for public rental housing for one-to-four-person families, including but not limited to family size, income, and asset value. Also must be willing to join activities, contribute to the social housing community, and have a concrete and feasible moving-out plan before the contract ends. 

Interested residents should also be aware that the application will be accepted based on two categories. First are those on the waiting list for public rental housing for over 3 years and second are those on the list for less than 3 years. 

Those that fulfil the requirements and are successful with the applications could start to live in (Po Ting Terraced Home) located on Po Lam Road North and (Yin Ting Terraced Home) located on Tong Yin Street from August to September. While the (Yap Ting Terraced Home) which is located on Yap Road could start to be living from November to December. 

Each household is due to live in transitional housing for two years, CFSC informed.

Interested residents could go to the CFSC office at Room 711, 7/F, 3 Tsui Ping Street, Kwun Tong to submit their applications either in person or submit a filled online form through email or by post.

The application period will be available on the 23rd of June from (2pm-9pm). It will continue on 24th- 25th June from (11am-7pm). The applications will end at noon on June 30.

將軍澳基督教家庭服務中心（CFSC）轄下的房屋項目申請即日起，即6月23日（星期五）至2023年6月30日開始。

現有1,079個單位，為三個過渡性項目，單位面積介乎107平方尺至265平方尺，現開放出租，租金介乎2,500港元至5,350港元。分別位於唐賢街、寶邑路及 寶林北路。

這些公寓包括適合殘疾居民入住的四人家庭。 超過一半的公寓是一人和兩人家庭。

任何人士欲申請，須符合房委會現有申請一至四人家庭公屋的政策及資格標準，包括但不限於家庭規模、收入及資產價值。 還必須願意參加活動，為社會住房社區做出貢獻，並在合同結束前製定具體可行的搬出計劃。

有興趣的居民還應該知道，該申請將基於兩個類別。 一是輪候公租房3年以上的，二是輪候3年以下的。

符合條件並成功申請的人士，可於八月至九月開始入住位於寶琳北路的（寶庭排屋）及位於唐賢街的（銀庭排屋）。 而位於雅浦路的（Yap Ting Terraced Home）則可能從11月到12月開始入住。

CFSC告知，每個家庭都將在過渡性住房中居住兩年。

有興趣的居民可親臨觀塘翠屏街3號7樓711室CFSC辦事處遞交申請，或透過電郵或郵寄方式遞交填妥的網上表格。

申請期將於 6 月 23 日（下午 2 點至晚上 9 點）開放。 活動將於 6 月 24 日至 25 日（上午 11 點至下午 7 點）繼續進行。 申請將於6月30日中午截止。
