The opening of the family office, originally scheduled for Thursday, has now been rescheduled for the end of May 2024. The prince's private office conveyed deep regrets for the inconvenience caused by the postponement and expressed sincere gratitude to the Hong Kong government, particularly the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and InvestHK, for their assistance in establishing the family office.
Additionally, it was highlighted that Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum, at the age of 28, has recently been appointed as an Honorary Professor in Sustainability Leadership by the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He actively engages with international organizations to address global challenges such as poverty.
Reportedly, Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum is the nephew of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the prime minister of the UAE.
