The post, made by Alma Bangayan, an administrator of the organization, requested prayers for Teresita before her bypass operation at Ruttonjee Hospital in Wan Chai. Bangayan personally reached out to Teresita, assuring her that her strong faith in God would help her through the procedure.
Following the surgery, Bangayan visited Teresita and was delighted to hear that the operation had been successful. In a messenger chat, Teresita informed Bangayan that the operation had taken place on Monday and that she was still in the hospital, awaiting discharge. Although she admitted to feeling weak, she expressed gratitude that the surgery had been performed through a less invasive method, with a tube inserted through her arm instead of opening her up.
Teresita, who is 54 years old, also mentioned that her employer of three years and three months had been supportive throughout her medical journey. However, she emphasized the importance of continued prayers and assistance as she embarks on her recovery process.
