Four teenagers were apprehended after stealing a minibus and taking it for a short joyride of 50 meters in Tsuen Wan. The vehicle ended up stuck in a sewer, leading to the arrests.

The incident began when the green minibus, initially parked at Chuen Lung on Route Twisk, was reported stolen at 10:55 AM on Monday. Police discovered the minibus abandoned near a street gutter, just 50 meters from its original location.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers reviewed footage from the minibus's camera. The recordings revealed that four young men boarded the vehicle around 9 AM, drove it briefly, crashed it into the gutter, and then fled.
Following the investigation, police arrested four teenagers aged between 14 and 17 for taking conveyance without authority. One of the suspects, a 16-year-old, was additionally charged with using a motor vehicle without third-party insurance and driving without a valid license.
All four teens were granted police bail and are required to report back to the police station later next month.
