Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, John Lee on Tuesday urged the residents to go out in the next District Council polling day to vote and choose their best candidates.
Lee said that each ballot cast can improve the effectiveness of Hong Kong's district-level governance.
He said "Voters, please remember to vote on the polling day, choose the best candidate. Your vote will enhance the governance of the District Councils and will be conducive to good governance,"
In the next District Council poll 399 candidates will take part in the election that will take place on the 10th of December and the Chief Executive said he is expecting the electoral atmosphere to heat up in the coming weeks.
He reiterated that two polling stations will be set up in Sheung Shui to facilitate those who are returning from the mainland to vote.

香港特別行政區行政長官李家超週 二敦促居民在下一個區議會投票日出去投票，選出最適合自己的候選人。
李說，每一次投票都可以提高香港地區層級的施政成效。
他說： “選民們，請記得在投票日投票，選出最佳候選人。你們的一票將加強區議會的管治，有利於善治。”
在下一次區議會投票中，399 名候選人將參加 12 月 10 日舉行的選舉，行政長官表示，他預計選舉氣氛將在未來幾週內升溫。
他重申，將在上水設立兩個投票站，方便從大陸回國的選民投票。
