Hong Kong Express, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific which operates as a separate brand is giving out 100,000 tickets. The offer starts on Saturday 28th of October, 2023 for 3 days at HK$10 up for a ticket price.
The offer is to celebrate its 10th anniversary of establishment with the people. However, it is not certain if this opportunity includes taxes and surcharges or not.
It was stated on its website that the minimum flight price for a one-way ticket from Hong Kong to Tokyo, Japan is HK $348.
The airline company CEO Jeanette Mao said“Our flight frequencies have already exceeded pre-pandemic levels and are expected to reach 1.3 times by the end of this year. "
It was reported that from January to October 17, 2023, the airline carried more than 3.1 million passengers, with 70 per cent of the residents who travelled from Hong Kong
Mao said further that a new route route to Beijing Daxing International Airport would be added early next year.
HK Express is looking to expand its network and aims to hire 180 pilots and more than 300 cabin crew by the end of this year, it was said.
Mao said the carrier would stop selling group tickets to travel agencies from November because that business segment only accounted for 2 per cent of the total number of seats sold in the first nine months this year.
