Hong Kong police are investigating a body found near a highway

Hong Kong police are looking into a dead body that was found along Tuen Mun Road in the New Territories.

According to the Hong Kong police on Sunday, the remains of a man found next to a lamp post on a Tsuen Wan-bound section of the highway, close to a hill, was reported by a resident at around 12.10 pm.

Police added that the dead man was an elderly non-ethnic Chinese and was found with a walking aid next to the body.

Police are now investigating the deceased man's identity and the cause of his death.

香港警方在高速公路附近發現屍體後展開調查

香港警方正在調查在新界屯門路發現的一具屍體。

據香港警方週日稱，中午 12 點 10 分左右，一名居民報告稱，在通往荃灣的高速公路路段靠近一座小山的路燈柱旁發現了一具男子遺骸。

警方補充說，死者是一名非華裔老人，被發現時屍體旁邊有助行器。

警方目前正在調查死者的身分和死因。
