Hong Kong Police launch the "The police bike uniform and Equipment Trial Scheme"

The "Police Bicycle Uniforms and Equipment Pilot Project" coordinated by the Support Department was officially launched on December 18, Hong Kong police reported on Facebook.

The report explained that the goal is to assist in the implementation of community policing work, educate and improve the public's bicycle safety awareness, and jointly promote bicycle safety with the community.

Under this pilot scheme, officers from the New Territories North and New Territories South Regional Road Safety Teams will conduct bicycle safety publicity and education activities on cycling trails in the region.

Relevant personnel will wear cycling uniforms and equipment and use new convertible bicycles to strengthen contact with the public with a new and friendly image and encourage the community to participate in promoting bicycle safety.

香港警方推出「警察單車製服及裝備試用計畫」

香港警方在臉書上報道，由支援部協調的「警察自行車制服及裝備試驗計畫」將於12月18日正式啟動。

報告解釋稱，目標是協助落實社區警務工作，教育和提高公眾自行車安全意識，與社區共同促進自行車安全。

在此先導計畫下，新界北及新界南總區道路安全隊人員將在區內單車徑進行單車安全宣導及教育活動。

相關人員將穿著騎行服和裝備，使用新型敞篷自行車，以全新、友善的形象加強與大眾的接觸，並鼓勵社會參與宣傳自行車安全。
