Hong Kong’s Olympians to celebrate achievements and meet the fans in street parade on Wednesday

A 90-minute bus parade organised to feature the Hong Kong Olympics delegation, (athletes, coaches, and staff), meeting many fans and inspiring young ones with advice and selfies will start from the Hong Kong Sports Institute in Sha Tin on Wednesday at 10.15 am in two open-top buses.


According to the schedule announced by the authority, buses will pass by Tai Wai station around 10.30 am and the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower at about 11 am, before heading through the Cross-Harbour Tunnel and onto Queen’s Road Central before reaching the Central Star Ferry Pier at about 11:34 am


The parade will end around 11.45 am at Tamar Park, where the athletes will take part in a sharing session with students on their Olympic experiences.


35 athletes represented Hong Kong to compete in 13 sporting events at the Paris Olympics, which ended on August 12. The team came back with two gold and two bronze medals.


Fencer Vivian Kong Man-wai won Hong Kong’s first gold medal in the épée, while Cheung Ka-long successfully defended the title he won in the foil at the previous Games in Tokyo. Swimmer Siobhan Haughey took two bronze medals.





香港奧運選手週三舉行街頭遊行慶祝成就並與粉絲見面



為期 90 分鐘的巴士巡遊將於週三上午 10 點 15 分在沙田香港體育學院出發,香港奧運代表團(運動員、教練和工作人員)會見眾多球迷,並通過建議和自拍照激勵年輕人乘坐兩輛敞篷巴士。


根據時間表,巴士將於上午10時30分左右經大圍站,上午約11時經尖沙咀鐘樓,經紅磡海底隧道前往皇后大道中,於上午11時左右抵達中環天星碼頭。


遊行將於上午11.45左右在添馬公園結束,運動員將與學生分享奧運經驗。


35名運動員代表香港參加8月12日結束的巴黎奧運會,參加13個運動項目的比賽,奪得兩枚金牌和兩枚銅牌。


擊劍運動員江文慧為香港隊贏得了首枚重劍金牌,而張家朗則成功衛冕了他在東京奧運會上贏得的花劍冠軍。 游泳選手西奧布漢·豪伊 (Siobhan Haughey) 獲得了兩枚銅牌。
