A Hong Kong taxi driver was killed and four passengers were injured in a car accident in Causeway Bay on Tuesday night.
The taxi driver and his four passengers were trapped inside the vehicle when the taxi crashed into the back of a lift truck on Gloucester Road near the World Trade Center at around 8 p.m.
Firefighters rescued the taxi driver, but he was pronounced dead at Wanchai Ruttonjee Hospital.
The passengers, including a man, two women and a three-year-old girl, were taken to Queen Mary Hospital, Ruttonjee Hospital and Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment.
The accident left three adults unconscious. The girl initially passed out but later regained consciousness.

周二晚，香港铜锣湾发生车祸，一名出租车司机死亡，四名乘客受伤。
晚上8点左右，出租车在世贸中心附近的格洛斯特路撞上一辆叉车的后部，出租车司机和他的四名乘客被困在出租车内。
消防员救出该名的士司机，但他在湾仔律敦治医院被宣布死亡。
乘客包括一名男子、两名女子及一名三岁女童，被送往玛丽医院、律敦治医院及东区尤德夫人那打素医院接受治疗。
事故导致三名成年人失去知觉。 女孩最初昏倒了，但后来恢复了知觉。
