Hong Kong will grace the July 1 handover anniversary with freebies

Hong Kong leader, John Lee Ka-chiu announced on Tuesday that people will board free light train, trams, enjoy free visit to museums and dine in more than 1000 restaurants in the city with discounted prices to grace the occasion of this year July 1, which would be 27th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handing over to mainland China.


John Lee stated that the tram and MTR light rail which are popular in Hong Kong Island and New Territories respectively will be opened free for everyone on July 1. The MTR buses in New Territories will be free while the young ones between the age of 3 and 11 will be riding MTR free for that day.


The exhibitions of the Hong Kong Science Museum, the Hong Kong Museum of Art and M+ will be opened free for the public to have good time. The exhibitions at the Hong Kong Palace Museum is not left out.


Additionally, the entry to the Hong Kong Wetland Park, government-run indoor and outdoor recreational venues will also be free.


People that visit Ocean Park Hong Kong between 29th of June to 1st of July will get 30 per cent discount while children and the elderly will get discounted tickets on the Peak Tram on July 1, Hong Kong leader said.




香港將為 7 月 1 日回歸紀念日提供免費贈品



香港特首李家超週二宣布,市民將免費搭乘輕軌、電車、免費參觀博物館,並在市內 1000 多家餐廳以折扣價用餐,以迎接今年的 7 月 1 日。


李約翰表示,港島和新界分別流行的電車和港鐵輕軌將於7月1日起免費向所有人開放。 11日當天可免費搭乘港鐵。


香港科學館、香港藝術館及M+的展覽將免費開放,供民眾觀賞。 香港故宮文化博物館的展覽也不例外。


此外,香港濕地公園、政府營辦的室內外康樂場所也將免費開放。


香港領導人表示,6月29日至7月1日期間參觀香港海洋公園的遊客將獲得30%的折扣,而兒童和老年人將獲得7月1日山頂纜車的折扣門票。
