A minibus overturned in Ma On Shan, injuring the driver and passengers.

The accident occurred at around 8pm today (31st) when the minibus was traveling along Sai Sha Road, Ma On Shan, and turned onto Ma On Shan Road. A suspected tire failure caused the minibus to lose control and roll over to the left, trapping the driver and passengers inside.

The fire department immediately responded to the distress call and successfully rescued the person. After receiving initial treatment and bandaging, the injured was then taken by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.

During the accident, fuel leaked from the minibus and law enforcement officers cordoned off the scene. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway to determine the specific factors that caused the minibus to overturn.
