A 43-year-old motorcyclist lost his life after he slammed his motorbike into a railing on a Hong Kong highway early morning of Friday.
According to the police, the incident happened on Tuen Mun Road in Siu Lam at around 6.27 am.
The police spokesperson said, “When approaching the Tuen Mun Road Bus-Bus Interchange, [he] reportedly lost control and rammed into barriers,”.
The rider suffered serious head and body injuries, lost consciousness and was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital but he was pronounced dead at 7.23 am, the report said.
Police said officers from the New Territories South traffic unit are assigned to investigate the cause of the accident and therefore have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact officers on 3661 1346.

警方表示，事件於早上6時27分左右發生在小欖屯門路。
警方發言人表示：“據報道，他在接近屯門公路巴士轉乘站時失去控制，撞上路障。”
報道稱，騎士頭部和身體嚴重受傷，失去知覺，被送往屯門醫院，但於上午7時23分被宣告死亡。
警方表示，新界南交通組人員已奉命調查事故原因，因此呼籲目擊者或知情者致電3,661 1346與警方聯繫。
