Hong Kong's MTR has suspended some train services along the Island Line tonight because the platform doors at Wan Chai station could not be opened, and passengers were asked to leave the train through emergency exits.
MTR Corporation said services between Sheung Wan and Quarry Bay stations had been halted due to the use of the train emergency ramp at Wan Chai.
The rail operator also said a free shuttle bus service had been arranged and would start about 45 minutes after the outage.
The operator announced at 9.11pm that the incident had been resolved and Island Line services were "gradually resuming".

由於灣仔站月台門無法打開，港鐵已暫停港島線部分列車服務，並要求乘客通過緊急出口下車。
港鐵公司表示，由於使用灣仔的列車緊急坡道，上環站和鰂魚涌站之間的服務已暫停。
鐵路運營商還表示，已安排免費穿梭巴士服務，將在停電後約 45 分鐘開始。
營辦商於晚上 9 時 11 分宣布事件已解決，港島線服務“逐漸恢復”。
