Hong Kong's National Security Agency issued red notices for eight Hong Kong residents currently overseas, including exiled activist Nathan Law, a former "Demosisto member". They are wanted on suspicion of violating national security laws.
According to reports, undercover police officers divided into two teams at around 6:00 this morning to inspect two units in a housing estate in Tung Chung. One of the units is the former residence of Nathan Law's mother and brother, and the other is the residence of his father. State security agents reportedly took Lau's parents and brother for questioning, but made no arrests.
The eight Hong Kong residents were charged with violating the National Security Law, which came into effect in June 2020. The law criminalizes secession, subversion of state power, terrorism and collusion with foreign powers. The eight are believed to have fled Hong Kong after the law was passed.
Regina Ip, a former security chief and convener of the pro-Beijing New Democratic Party, recently warned that anyone providing financial support to the eight fugitives could also be subject to legal action. While communicating with them is not a crime, anyone who supports their lobbying campaign against Hong Kong or engages in activities that violate national security could face legal action, she said.

香港國家安全局向目前在海外的八名香港居民發出紅色通緝令，其中包括前眾志成員、現已流亡的活動人士羅冠聰。他們因涉嫌違反國家安全法而被通緝。
據報導，便衣警員今天早上六時左右分成兩隊，巡查東涌一屋村的兩個單位。其中一間單位為羅冠聰母親及兄長的故居，另一間則為羅冠聰父親的住所。據報導，國家安全人員帶走了勞的父母和兄弟進行審問，但沒有逮捕任何人。
這八名香港居民被指控違反2020年6月實施的《國家安全法》。該法將分裂國家、顛覆國家政權、恐怖主義和勾結外國勢力定為刑事犯罪。據信，這八人已在該法通過後逃離香港。
前保安局局長、親北京的新民黨召集人葉劉淑儀最近警告說，任何向八名逃犯提供經濟支持的人也可能受到法律訴訟。她表示，雖然與他們交流並不構成犯罪，但任何支持他們針對香港的遊說活動或從事違反國家安全活動的人都可能面臨法律制裁。
