A 42-year-old woman was arrested on Friday afternoon on suspicion of theft at a convenience store on Kwai Chung.
The woman was reported to have stolen four packs of painkillers at a convenience store in Kwai Chung last Thursday.
Police said a report was made on the 16th of November by the store worker declaring that four packs of painkillers which had a total price of HK$300 could not be found on the shelves.
The case was passed over to the Kwai Chung police district. After a thorough investigation, the surveillance footage revealed the perpetrator and the woman was apprehended at Chau Kwai House, situated in Kwai Chung Estate.
