According to the Office of the Communications Authority, any unregistered pre-paid SIM (PPS) cards cannot be used after 23 Feb 2023. In response to the government's request, all the telecommunication service providers have earlier sent out final SMS notification reminders to users of any unregistered PPS cards.
Likewise, various financial institutions have sent e-mail and SMS to their customers using PPS cards as their contacts to register latest by today to avoid the seize of sending sms and call to enjoy their digital banking services.
