Severe flooding at Wong Tai Sin MTR Station led to severe distrupt of the Kwun Tong Line

At 00:20 today, the MTR Corporation issued an announcement stating that train services on the Kwun Tong Line were severely disrupted.

The disruption was caused by flooding in an area near Wong Tai Sin Station. Therefore, the train service from Whampoa Station to Kwun Tong Station on the Kwun Tong Line has been fully suspended. In addition, due to flooding at MTR Wong Tai Sin Station, especially near Exit E, trains will not stop at this station until further notice.

At 23:53 pm last night, the MTR notified that the A2 entrance and exit of Nam Cheong Station had to be temporarily closed due to flooding near the station. Passengers are advised to use alternative entrances/exits during this time.

In addition, flooding occurred near Chai Wan Station at 11:11 pm yesterday, resulting in the temporary closure of exit E. Passengers are advised to use other available entrances and exits to enter the station until the situation is resolved.

Finally, Sheung Shui Station faced a similar challenge, with flooding near the station leading to the temporary closure of exit E. Passengers are advised to use alternative entrances and exits until the flooding subsides.
