The body of a middle-aged man was found between the opening of a rock in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate

The body of a middle-aged man was discovered in a rock crevice at the seaside of Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, police said on Wednesday.

At about 11 o'clock this morning, the police received a report of a person lying unconscious in a crevice on the gravel beach opposite Chun Wang Street in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.

After rescue workers arrived at the scene, they found a man in a pile of rocks. He was confirmed dead after examination.

The police would be investigating his identity and the cause of his death. The corpse was removed for further examination.

It is understood that the deceased was about 40 to 50 years old and was wearing clothes when he was found.
