Three Indian men arrested in connection with Mong Kok robbery

At around 2:30 am today, a 23-year-old blond man reported to the police that he was robbed by two South Asian men wearing masks near the public toilet opposite No. 6 Mong Kok Road.

The victim claimed that HK$50,000 in cash was forcibly taken from him in his handbag. He had a short fight with the robbers, but the robbers managed to escape in the direction of Shanghai Street.


The police launched a thorough investigation immediately after receiving the report. Today, three Indian citizens aged between 26 and 30 who held a bond were arrested in the Mong Kok area. They are suspected of conspiring to commit the robbery, two of whom were involved in the theft of cash and a third who was on guard.

今天凌晨2时30分左右,一名23岁金发男子向警方报案,称自己在旺角道6号对面的公厕附近被两名戴着口罩的南亚男子抢劫。


受害人声称,他手提包内的5万元现金被强行夺走。 他与劫匪短暂打斗,但劫匪成功向上海街方向逃走。


警方接到报案后立即展开深入调查。 8月1日,三名年龄介乎26至30岁、持有保释的印度公民在旺角地区被捕。 他们涉嫌合谋实施抢劫,其中两人参与盗窃现金,第三人负责值守。
