Tragic Incident at Lo Wu Control Point: Infant Dies After Collapse

On February 3, 2025, a heartbreaking incident occurred at the Lo Wu Control Point in Hong Kong when a five-month-old girl collapsed and lost consciousness around 7:06 PM, coinciding with the sixth day of the Chinese New Year.

Staff at the control point acted swiftly, alerting the authorities for immediate assistance. Paramedics arrived on the scene promptly; however, the infant remained unconscious. Accompanied by her parents, she was rushed by ambulance to North District Hospital for urgent medical care. Tragically, at 8:55 PM, she was pronounced dead.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
