In a dramatic incident reported on Sai Kung Sai Wan Road, a taxi lost control and plunged down a three-meter slope. The driver, a 66-year-old man named Mr. Wu, managed to escape the vehicle, suffering only minor injuries to his head, neck, and waist. He was later taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for treatment.

The event, which unfolded earlier today, was captured on viral dashcam footage that circulated widely on social media. The video shows the red taxi initially parked on muddy ground before it suddenly veered into dense bushes, knocking down surrounding trees. Viewers commented on the taxi's unexpected movement, likening it to a scene from a Hollywood action movie, with some referencing the arcade game "Crazy Taxi."
Approximately five seconds after the incident began, the vehicle was halted by foliage and rocks, leaving the driver in a precarious position. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, with witnesses suggesting that the driver may have mistakenly pressed the accelerator while traveling downhill.
The taxi was ultimately lifted from the slope by a crane following the incident.
