HONG KONG - CS Auctioneers Ltd., known for its upcoming property auctions, is expected to auction about 14 properties this Wednesday. Among them, Sze Bo Building, located at 59-65 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, which has a unique residential unit. The unit, located on the lower floor with an attached terrace, will be auctioned at a starting price of less than HK$9,000 per square foot.

The foreclosed property has an elevator and a usable area of ​​approximately 575 square feet. The starting price is HK$4.98 million, equivalent to approximately HK$8,661 per square foot.

Alger Cheng, general manager of the auction department at CS Auctioneers Ltd., said there was interest from potential buyers who visited the property and made bids. However, many of the offers were conservative and below the minimum price set by the owner. Cheng further added that as of mid-November, more than 300 foreclosed properties were still available for sale.
