Woman dies after falling from tree in Lau Fau Shan

On Monday, a 65-year-old woman fell to her death while climbing a tree trying to pick lychees.

The tragedy happened at about 11.01am this morning when Ms Wong attempted to climb the tree, which is more than four meters high, to harvest lychees.

It is understood that the woman lost her grip during the climbing process and fell unconscious after falling. Her friend reported the incident to authorities and paramedics took the woman to Tin Shui Wai Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the incident and the woman's cause of death is waiting an autopsy.

女子流浮山墜樹身亡

悲劇發生在今天上午約11時01分，當時黃女士試圖爬上那棵超過四米高的樹去採摘荔枝。

據了解，女子在攀爬過程中失去了抓地力，摔倒後不省人事。她的朋友向當局報告了此事，醫護人員將該女子送往天水圍醫院，在那裡她被宣布死亡。

警方正在調查這起事件，該女子的死因正在等待屍檢。
