Hong Kong - A car accident occurred at 8:55 this morning. Five cars, including a BMW private car and four taxis, collided near the lower terminus of the Peak Tram on Garden Road in Central. Four people were injured in the incident, all of whom suffered minor injuries and refused hospital treatment after being examined by paramedics. The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
After the traffic accident, the Transport Department announced the closure of part of Garden Road heading towards Central and near the Peak Tram terminus. Due to current severe traffic congestion in the affected areas, motorists are advised to use the remaining lanes.
