A Cathay Pacific aircraft went through another hitch late last night. The flight that was planned for the Los Angeles journey has to hold up on discovering a water leakage on Sunday night.
The water leakage was discovered at the surface parts of the CX800 aircraft that ought to take off at 12.05 am while all the passengers were already on board.
The incident was confirmed by the Cathay Pacific authorities and the spokesperson apologized for what happened and the inconvenience caused. The rearrangement was made to embark on the journey on Monday.
There was also a similar case of the Cathay Pacific aircraft that aborted its take-off after the aircraft tires developed an overheating fault and burst at the Hong Kong International Airport runaway early last Saturday. 11 passengers were injured.
