In an exciting collaboration, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and international art collective teamLab are set to transform Hong Kong's Tamar Park and the Central and Western District Promenade into a mesmerizing outdoor art exhibition. The event, titled "teamLab: Continuous," will feature over 200 luminous installations, including captivating "luminous eggs," that will create a stunning visual and interactive experience for visitors.
From March 25 to June 2, the exhibition will offer a dynamic display of colorful lights and sounds that will change in response to the presence and interaction of visitors. The illuminated installations will also extend to the surrounding trees, adding to the immersive atmosphere of the park.
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, the LCSD has implemented a reservation system for visitors who wish to get up close and personal with the installations. Reservations can be made on the Klook website starting from noon on March 18. Each person is allowed to reserve one session per day, accommodating two individuals. The sessions are divided into 30-minute intervals, with a total of 9 sessions per night.
In addition to the exhibition at Tamar Park, the LCSD has partnered with Sino Group to present "Chromaflux," a large-scale digital art installation created by artists from Germany, France, the Czech Republic, and Hong Kong. This spectacular installation will be showcased at the Sino LuminArt Façade of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre and Empire Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.
The teamLab exhibition and the Chromaflux installation promise to be a feast for the senses, offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to engage with art in a vibrant and innovative way. Don't miss out on this extraordinary experience that illuminates Hong Kong's harbor with creativity and wonder.
